Touch screens usually don't take well to rain. Just try using your smartphone in a downpour or even when it is just slightly wet: chances are it won't quite behave as expected. Apart from getting inside (unless the device is watertight), falling raindrops can mimic a finger tap or swipe, resulting in erratic behavior.
MILITARY-STRENGTH WEATHER RESISTANCE
In a series of recent tests, both devices scored top marks as per European Standard CEN/TR 15601:2012 and US Military Standard MIL-STD 810 for rugged devices. With rain volumes of up to 300 mm/h lashing against the OD5 and OD10 touchscreens at up to 18 m/s, they still performed flawlessly, living up to the high quality standards users have come to expect from Commend. For users this means ultimate reliability of their business-critical communication even under rainstorm conditions.
