Don't worry, it's secure!
This TEDx talk caught my attention today. Pablos Holman, a renowned hacker, talks about hacking devices on networks . . even devices or credentials believed to be secure! How's this any different than your security camera system?
So, a hacker might use your camera to see what's happening in or around your facility. This is bad if you're the physical security director. Or, the hacker may be using the camera as a portal just to get into other systems. This is bad if you're the IT Security Director. Either way, it's bad, really bad.
