Washington DC Verizon Center Arena Upgrades Video Surveillance

Verizon_Center_pictureThe Verizon Center in Washington DC, home to Washington Wizards basketball, Washington Capitals hockey, Georgetown University Basketball, Washington Power men's lacrosse, as well as circuses and high profile performances, recently upgraded their video surveillance system to 4K ultra HD.

Verizon Center, owned and operated by Monumental Sports & Entertainment is a high-profile indoor stadium venue that seats over 20,000 fans at maximum capacity. 

As an early-adopter of new technologies, they claim bragging rights for installing the first high definition indoor LED scoreboard. Now they're pushing the adoption of new 4K ultra HD technology into facility security.
