Image Stabilization
The camera incorporates a built-in, optical or electronic image stabilization (model dependent) feature which prevents pixel loss and outperforms electronic image stabilization. If it detects vibration, the camera dynamically corrects the shaky video in both the vertical and horizontal axis, resulting in exceptional image clarity and a stable field of view on the monitor.
Variable Beam Illumination
The IR models have an integrated, long-life Illuminator with a variable beam that enables viewing of objects even in total darkness, ensuring high-quality images regardless of the lighting conditions. Note: The distances and the performance depend on the environmental light conditions.
Snap to Zoom
Drawing a box in the image viewing window with the mouse will trigger the camera to zoom to the correct position.
Video Analytics while camera is moving
Outside of pre-positions and even while the PTZ camera is moving, whether on guard tours or manually, the Intelligent Video Analytics application can detect and start alarms when objects are in alarm fields. These alarm fields are defined once across all PTZ camera views. The camera can automatically trigger an alarm if any part of a field within the camera's view becomes active while on a guard tour sweeping across the monitored areas.
Accurate Positioning
Adding to the reliability of these cameras and leveraging the MIC's unique positioning system, the AUTODOME 7100i (IR) never loses track of its position, even if power is lost or the camera sustains excessive force. Built-in brushless positioning motors are highly efficient because they use less energy and offer a longer service life. The system presets are accurate to .10 degrees and maintains the intended position for pre-positions, sectors, and privacy masks.
Intelligent Tracking
When the Intelligent Video Analytics application in the camera detects objects or individuals, the camera can automatically activate the Intelligent Tracking feature, which controls the pan/tilt/zoom actions of the
camera to track objects and keep them in view. IVA Pro Intelligent Tracking, based on deep learning,
provides an AI-based version of this Intelligent Tracking feature, which automatically detects and
separates upright persons and vehicles. Robust algorithms based on artificial neural networks are
trained to ignore potential disruptions caused by vehicle headlights or shadows, extreme weather, and
sun reflections. Thus, a PTZ camera equipped with IVA Pro Intelligent Tracking can automatically follow
persons and vehicles in traffic or inner city scenes by panning, tilting, and zooming to follow an object of

IVA Pro Buildings and IVA Pro Perimeter come free and pre-installed on AUTODOME 7100i (IR) cameras. Based on deep learning, IVA Pro Traffic is an additional, licensed option that supports ITS applications. By achieving accuracy levels beyond 95 percent in vehicle counting, it can replace traditional and expensive-to-maintain counting methods, for example, ground loops. In addition to giving an accurate count, IVA Pro Traffic offers reliable detection and sub-classification of vehicles such as cars, bicycles, buses, motorcycles, and trucks. It can accurately detect and classify pedestrians, even in crowded scenes, to enable safety solutions for vulnerable road users. The collected data provides actionable insights for improving the efficient use of roadways and the safety of people and vehicles at intersections, highways, and tunnels. The algorithms of the IVA Pro Traffic are trained to ignore potential disturbances caused by vehicle headlights or shadows, extreme weather, sun reflections, and shaking cameras.
IVA Pro Intelligent Tracking is a new, licensed option that enables the camera to zoom in and follow a selected object automatically . The new software uses deep learning to understand more complex vehicle and pedestrian traffic scenarios and situations, such as when vehicles and pedestrians chosen to be tracked by the functionality are temporarily stopped in transit due to traffic lights, congestion, or accidents. This sophisticated analysis of the scene gives the user a higher degree of reliability that the selected object will be followed continuously, even if it does not keep moving all the time.

In this series of demonstrations, Matt Cirnigliaro of Bosch Security and Safety Systems narrates as the AUTODOME 7100i (IR) PTZ tracks an object and ignores others in the first demonstration of IVA Pro Traffic and IVA Pro Intelligent Tracking.
Next, we step up the complexity of the evaluations and include a reaction that's commonly referred to as "slew to cue." Slew to cue in the perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS) market occurs when a PTZ camera, or other movable device, is directed to a specific location by an independent sensor. To accomplish this, Matt configured several DINION 7100i IR cameras with detection fields using IVA Pro Perimeter. Then, he configured the AUTODOME 7100i (IR) PTZ to react to alerts from the DINION 7100i IR cameras, causing the AUTODOME 7100i (IR) PTZ to move to the area of the alarm for details verification and real-time situational awareness. Worth noting is that this unique Bosch camera capability does not require a server or computer to do the processing or issue commands to the PTZ camera. They are equipped with starlight technology, providing detailed overviews 24/7, even in a low-light environment. Intelligent IR comes standard on IR models to eliminate hot spots and ensure optimum illumination. Optical image stabilization is built-in on 8-megapixel models.

Power Options: AC, DC, and 802.3bt
The AUTODOME 7100i (IR) (Gen 6) models are available with and without onboard Infrared Illuminators (IR). The models without IR illumination require 60 watt 802.3bt type 3, class 6 PoE power. The models with IR Illumination require 90 watt 802.3bt type 4, class 8 PoE power.
When transitioning from a Bosch AUTODOME Gen4 (VG4) or Gen5 (VG5 or NDP) camera powered by PoE to the AUTODOME 7100i Series (Gen6) powered by PoE (IEEE 802.3bt), you need to replace the original POE injector with a new IEEE 802.3bt compliant PoE injector. The old PoE injectors will not power the new Gen 6 (NDP 7100i Series) IEEE 802.3bt compliant cameras.

Simplified installation
A patented installation concept enables operators to install the AUTODOME 7100i (IR) cameras on a wall or pipe with one hand. A new assistant hinge allows installers to click the camera in place safely and securely and get it up and running quickly, especially when installing from an elevated area. On top of this, system integrators can perform services such as changing configuration settings or installing firmware updates via the Bosch Remote Portal from anywhere.
