Some Bosch B and G Series intrusion alarm panels are now shipping with a cloud certificate!
The cloud certificate provides the option to utilize Bosch's new Remote Connect cloud service for connecting with the panel for programming with Remote Programming Software (RPS) and app control with the Remote Security Control app.

► Cloud connectivity improves performance of the Remote Security Control app with faster connection times.
► Our new Installer Service Portal offers a single location for management and support for all of our services - Bosch Cellular, Bosch SmartHome, and Bosch Remote Connect-and delivers a consolidation of service bills into one monthly statement.
Availability
B Series
All B Series panels are now shipping with cloud certificates except the E versions ("economy" - do not include IP on-board). B Series kits, except those with E versions or that include a B430 PSTN modules, are also shipping with cloud certificates. The kits with B430 PSTN modules will continue to ship with non-cloud panels until we exhaust the inventory of non-cloud panels, likely in a few months. E versions of the B Series panels will never be offered with a cloud certificate.
G Series
The B9512G panel and kits are now shipping with a cloud certificate. The B8512G panel and kits will begin shipping with cloud certificates in mid-September when inventory of non-cloud panels is exhausted. We will notify you when this occurs.
Compatibility
It is important to note that older panels are not upgradable. For security reasons, a panel must have the cloud certificate placed on it during the manufacturing process. It cannot be added at a later date, even to prior versions of B or G Series panels.
Service Sign Up
To utilize the Remote Connect cloud service you must create a new service account at the Installer Services Portal (installerservices.boschsecurity.com). Remote Connect cloud service costs $2 per month per panel. This portal can also be used to sign-up for Bosch's cellular services and for Bosch SmartHome automation service using the G100 Z-wave gateway.
Applications
Configuring inbound network communications is often complex and time consuming and in some cases it may even be prohibited by IT departments. The Remote Connect cloud service makes this much faster and easier by utilizing a cloud based service so only outbound communication is necessary from a customer's network.
