Headed to ISC West? The proof is in the pudding . . .

Most of our team is at one security technology show or another today, just like we are every week. Supporting end users, dealers, specifiers, and distribution partners.

I realized today that perhaps our standard tabletop display might have a little something on it that the others don't.

Something that is easily overlooked at a crowded show. Not even known to be a useful tool for security professionals.

Up for a little game of "Where's Waldo?"

Can you pick it out in the image below?

ShowDisplay-1

All tabletops or show displays from security camera manufacturers look alike to some degree or another.  Cameras focused. Monitors glowing. Literature sitting untouched. Give-aways gone. Guy on a smart device starring at the floor.

Our difference is often a bit technical. And the difference arises from a common problem we all encounter with demonstrations. They generally occur between the hours of 8a and 5p, Monday thru Friday. It's when you're at work and available for a meeting.

But how do you really get to see technology function "like real life?" It's tough and inconvenient.

Our efforts to show Bosch Starlight technology have caused the resurface of one of our oldest tools: the #10 welder's glass or Neutral Density Filter.

It's hidden in plain sight so we had to highlight it below.  So what's it for?  The filter simulates a near 100% dark environment.  Slide it in front of the camera lens and you will instantly see how well any camera performs at night. Installers have used it for years to properly back focus cameras in the field.

Simple device. Proof is in the pudding.

Still not convinced?  Ask to take the gear to your environment. Put it through its paces. Consider a pilot program.

Enjoy ISC West! We'll be there. Look us up.
