Sad to say that violence is erupting around us at work and in schools, even in movie theaters where we're supposed to be able to escape reality. It's all over the news and hitting closer and closer to home and work.
What are we going to do about it?
On October 16, our team is providing a unique opportunity for business, community, healthcare, government, and education leaders to hear new ideas about prevention, planning, and reaction to violent situations. This will be an opportunity to take a step back and hear different perspectives about risk assessment, training, and planning for workplace violence and active shooter incidents.
Featured will be a speaker from ALiCE as well as risk assessment expert, Caroline Ramsey Hamilton, in a University setting with easy access from I-95 in northeastern Maryland.
The event is free for business, community, healthcare, government, and education leaders from the Mid-Atlantic region to attend as our special invited guests. There is a seat reservation fee for security industry dealers and end users outside of the Mid-Atlantic region.
Event details and your RSVP link are here.
This event is being made possible through the generosity of Bosch Security Systems and Commend Intercom. Many thanks to these two phenomenal organizations for recognizing the urgency and importance of this topic.
We look forward to seeing you there.
