ODOT has installed safety systems at 13 high risk highway sites that will alert drivers in advance that they are approaching stopped or slowed traffic through the use of Bosch Security and Safety Systems intelligent video analytics. Alerts are displayed on overhead message boards and are also broadcast to traffic apps like OHGO.
