The MidChes team attended an internal launch of the new Bosch 4000i and 5000i series cameras, part of the same upgrade roadmap as the 6000i, 7000i, and 9000i cameras.
The new midrange of cameras will be equipped with Essential Video Analytics for business critical security applications: Intrusion detection and analytics and people counting in smaller, controlled environments.
The new dome and bullet cameras also cover the technological trends in the security market for performance improvement, more efficient encoding (H.265), and improved low light capability. Even better low light capability is covered with the DINION IP starlight 6000i IR.
What's new:
- Essential Video Analytics: The built-in video analysis reinforces the Intelligence at-the-Edge concept and now delivers even more powerful features. Ideal for use in controlled environments with limited detection ranges.
- Image Performance: High resolution imaging with 1080p and 5MP resolutions combined with dynamic ranges of up to 120dB, and higher frame rates. Encoding is available in both H.265 and H.264.
- Bitrate Reduction: up to 80% compared to conventional H.264 cameras due to intelligent streaming, Intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction and H.265 encoding
Indoor Scene: Outdoor Scene:
- Ease of Installation: due to the Bosch MEMS Gyro sensor (related to easy calibration and set-up of video analytics) and automatic varifocal (AVF) (easy camera set-up)
- Improved Tamper Detection: due to Bosch MEMS Gyro sensor
- Improved Low Light Performance: in the DINION IP starlight 6000i IR
- Universal Accessories: a complete new range of accessories supporting all types or installations for all new types of dome cameras
