December 31, 2024 marks the last day that Bosch GV4 alarm control panels will be supported by the Bosch Technical Support department.
Below is a video, guide, and helpful information that we posted in 2022 to help our partners make the transition from legacy Bosch systems. Take a look, and if you have questions, please contact us here >>
There are plenty of reasons why you would want to swap an old intrusion alarm panel for a new one. Sometimes a panel simply needs to be replaced due to age, and sometimes an end user needs a feature that only exists on a new version of the alarm panel.
For example, current Bosch intrusion panels feature support for a mobile app and remote management, while older panels do not. Current Bosch panels come with an Ethernet port for IP monitoring and a slot for a cellular radio, while older panels do not. Current Bosch panels can accommodate twice the number of points, users, and history that older panels can.
Upgrading panels used to be a simple procedure - just lift and replace. Things are a little more complicated now, so be sure to refer to our guides and request expert system design assistance from our team.
