Bosch recently added integration of IP cameras to the B-Series Control Panels, which allows video motion detection to activate points on the panel and panel events to trigger camera actions. This new capability gives end users the ability to see images of events happening at their homes or businesses on their mobile devices and provides an easy path toward video alarm verification. Now owners can receive an alarm notification, launch the intrusion app, control the intrusion alarm panel, and view Bosch IP cameras for real-time status of the property.

Certificates are generated by the alarm panel and are granted to users of the alarm system. The certificate is then uploaded into the app for security verification. These certificates can be for employees, friends, delivery personnel, or even temporary house guests. Access and control capability can be assigned for any time frame from one day to 20 years.  For example, a weekly rental property can have the certificate active for one week with a unique passcode and expires the day the guests leave. This allows the owner of the property to feel at ease that the house is being secured and also gives the visitor peace of mind that their valuables are safe.

In addition to the new video viewing capabilities, the Remote Security Control app allows arming and disarming of one or more B Series systems or areas, as well as controlling any connected outputs-including lights, garage doors, and more.
