Organizations are now able to gather additional situational awareness by expanding the use of video surveillance cameras. Audio analytics have become a key component to determining the exact root of a situation. With both audio and video analytics information available, proper response and ongoing situational awareness is possible.
We performed proof of concept testing for loud noise anomaly detection using Bosch security cameras and intelligent video analytics with onboard microphones as well as Bosch cameras with an external microphone connected via line level audio input.
