B942_Keypad_ImageWhat if you could have an intrusion detection alarm system keypad that worked on multiple intrusion alarm platforms, cut wire costs and eliminated installation headache, allowed for dual credential capability, recognized when the owner was standing in front of it, and looked sleek for a modern look?

Bosch has released the B942 series color graphic touchscreen keypad for use with G-seres and B-series intrusion detection alarm panels.

The keypads have onboard 4-input and 1-output relays that allow you to save wire and labor by tying devices to the keypad instead of creating many home-run wire pulls.  Additionally, installation is simpified with a "screw-less" terminal strip as well as both slim and surface mount plates to complete the professional installation.

Dual credential capability allows you to eliminate a card reader and use the same device for the pin code and the proximity reader.

For end user desirability, the keypad offers a presence detector which turns the display screen on for easy viewing of the current status and the buttons for changing the status.
