Many security professionals who haven't made the migration to IP video may still be using old CRT monitors.

So what happens when it's time to replace the CRT?

Legacy Analog Systems

Fortunately security grade flat panel monitors usually have a 'BNC' connection.  This connector allows you to use the same cabling you've been using to see your analog camera's video signal.

Smaller flat panel monitors usually have rack mount adapter kits available so that you can put it into the same rack that your CRT may have been mounted in.

Migration to IP Video

In some cases you may have been using a CRT panel alog with a decoder to be able to see new IP camera streams on your old monitor.  Most security grade flat panel monitors provide VGA, HDMI, DVI, and BNC connectors, so using the existing decoder shouldn't be a problem.

Perhaps you want to eliminate the decoder? EIZO manufactures a security monitor that has a built-in ONVIF decoder.

IP Video Systems

If you're all IP already, then you've likely already upgraded your legacy CRT's to flat panels.  If not, we can help with the rest fo your migration.

Perhaps you want to eliminate the decoder? EIZO manufactures a security monitor that has a built-in ONVIF decoder.
