wi-fi.jpgCyber security weaknesses are abound.

Whether at your desk, in your building, or out and about town, threats are everywhere. betanews reported that the recently released iPass Mobile Security Report says that 62% of organizations are banning their mobile workers from using free Wi-Fi hotspots, with another 20 percent planning on doing the same in the future. For 94 percent of surveyed companies, free and open Wi-Fi hotspots are a "significant mobile security threat".

Bosch_Data_security_image.jpgIn the physical security business there is a surge in concern about the security of security applicances, such as IP cameras, on business and government networks. The most common concern in the past was encryption. Watching the video stream without permission is one thing. Entering a network through an unsecured device is an entirely different problem.

To combat the "hackable IP camera" problem, Bosch and several partners have created a system designed for maximum system security. From enryptied video streams to PKI certificate handling (CHAVE), Bosch and its partners are on top of their game.
