Ultra HD (4K), ultra High Definition, or 4K ultra HD, as you may see the terminology referenced in different places, is the next big step in HD IP camera resolution. There are multiple varieties of 4K digital content ranging from 3,840 x 2,160 to 4,096 x 3,112, but the 3,840 x 2,160 resolution is the most common seen in the consumer electronics market.
